Danny Palmer is the Regional Pharmacy Procurement Specialist for the South West of England. He works within the Specialist Pharmacy Service, and is based out of University Hospitals Bristol & Weston NHS Foundation Trust. Danny has worked in the NHS for over 30 years in hospital pharmacy, holding the position of Regional Procurement Lead for the South West since 2014, and previously the role of Medicines Procurement Specialist at Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. He has an interest in data and performance benchmarking, and has been involved in the development of the RxInfo systems Exend and Exend Plus. Danny also chairs the Contract Management Technology Group, which is a subgroup of the Pharmaceutical Market Support Group (PMSG).
