Dr Dimitrios Chartonas is a consultant psychiatrist at the specialist Personality Disorder Service in the Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust. There he has developed a relational approach to prescribing and leads a formulation-based prescribing supervision group. He is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist and member of the British Psychotherapy Foundation. He has a teaching and research interest in personality disorder, psychodynamic psychiatry and reflective practice. He is a founding member of the group Psychodynamics of Prescribing - UK (PoP-UK). He has given numerous talks on relational prescribing in London, nationally and internationally.
