In her role as Director of Regional Pharmacy Training in the South West, Ellen leads Pharmacy Workforce Development South (PWDS), and is responsible for driving the development of innovative training programmes and steering pharmacy workforce development and education regionally and nationally.
With extensive experience across pharmacy settings and specialising in education and training, Ellen’s career has been dedicated to ensuring that the pharmacy workforce is equipped with the skills and knowledge required to meet the evolving needs of healthcare.
A Fellow, and former Vice President of APTUK, and current Independent Expert Member of the UKPPLAB, Ellen is a passionate advocate for the pharmacy technician profession, and champions the role that pharmacy technicians play in the delivery of pharmacy services and their contribution to the wider healthcare agenda.
