Emma is a Pharmacist with a PhD in Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacogenetics from Newcastle University. Emma has followed a research career pathway, working as a post-doctoral researcher before joining the NHS as a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist in Adherence research. Her research interests include medication adherence to cardiovascular medications, in particular to oral anticoagulants and statins, variability in response to these medications and pharmacogenetics.
