Fintan is Associate Director for the Digital and Interoperable Medicines Programme in NHS Digital. He started his career working in IT support/ training before moving into project management within the local NHS in Bradford. He has been working on national programme's of change in NHS Digital and predecessor organisations since 2008, playing a key role in the implementations of Summary Care Record, Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) and leading the work on the provision of primary care medicines data collections for secondary uses. His remit now includes medicines interoperability, EPS and the provision of secondary care medicines data.
