Hala is passionate about all things pharmacy! Hala is a community pharmacist working at Boots and has previously worked as a GP practice pharmacist. She has developed a special interest in public health and improving patient outcomes. She is a member of the PDA BAME Network, and is also the PDA National Representative for London Airports and Stations, and the PDA Committee Member for Community Pharmacy (South East). Hala is also a member of the International Forum for Wellbeing in Pregnancy (IFWIP) advisory board, an Associate member for MORPh training, a mentor for PHARMAALLY and a Panel Member at the UK Diabetes Network. Hala completed the Mental Health First Aid Trainer and Mary Seacole programme - NHS Leadership Academy. She has received accolades such as being recognised as the very first Pharma Face. She has also been referred to as ‘The Brighton Titan’, ‘Woman in Pharmacy’ and ‘Woman in Healthcare.’
