Helen Dunn

Highly Specialised Lead Pharmacy Technician (Clinical Trials) & NIHR Pharmacy Lead (NENC RRDN), South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Helen qualified as a pharmacy technician in 2003 and has worked in various pharmacy roles before specialising as lead clinical trials technician in 2009. Helen is a GCP training facilitator and Pharmacy Lead for the NENC regional clinical trials network. Helen is a member of the National Pharmacy Clinical Trials Advisory Group (NPCTAG) and Chairs the national NIHR Pharmacy Working Group. These groups bring together expertise of UK pharmacy clinical trials staff and key experts to provide advice on clinical trial efficiencies, education and training. Helen is passionate about improving patient outcomes and progressing pharmacy input into clinical research.
