Helen is a Senior Pharmacist, Advanced Clinical Practitioner. Helen has recently completed a 2-year tenure as PCN Clinical Director for ‘The People’s Health Partnership’, serving a community population of 58,000. As part of the Phase One, COVID Vaccination Programme roll out, Helen was the Local Vaccination Site Lead for PCN grouping consisting of 21 GP surgeries in West Birmingham. Her system wide roles include Primary Care Clinical Leadership Executive for long term conditions and prevention as well as the Primary Care Clinical Leadership Executive for integrated pathways and service redesign. Her system-wide roles extends to chair of Long Term Conditions Commissioning Board and deputy chair of the Out of Hospital Board. Helen is the national vice-president for Primary Care Pharmacy Association and a Primary Care Expert Advisory Board Member for Royal Pharmaceutical Society. Her national work continues in various NHSE&I clinical reference groups – Pharmacy Integration Fund and Frailty at Home. Helen was one of the founding CD board members for the NHS Confederation PCN Network. Also, Helen contributes to the Joint National Inclusive Pharmacy Practice agenda and is a Royal Pharmaceutical Society Fellow.
