Dr Al-Jabr holds a PhD in pharmacy practice from the University of East Anglia (UEA). Hiyam is currently employed as a Research Fellow in Epidemiology (School of Medicine-Keele University), and as a Senior Research Associate (Research and Innovation Department-MPFT). Hiyam previously worked as a Research Associate (University of Suffolk), and as a Senior Research Associate (UEA). Hiyam has led projects to improving consultation skills of pharmacists and trials to support adherence in type-2 diabetes and to support long COVID. Hiyam is currently involved in projects to enhance pharmacy professionals’ research engagement, and in investigating digital physician and/or mental rehabilitation interventions.
