Fan Cheng is a Principal immunology pharmacist at Great Ormond Street and co-chair of the London NPPG Regional Group. She works with children with immunodeficiencies, exploring novel therapies and repurposing medicines to treat rare diseases. Her research analyses therapeutic drug monitoring data using population pharmacokinetic modelling to optimise dosing where paediatric evidence is limited, aiming to improve safety and efficacy. She is also committed to patient and public involvement and engagement (PPIE), ensuring that the perspectives and priorities of young people and their families involved every stage of research, from project selection and study design through to analysis and dissemination.
