Jay Badenhorst is Director of Pharmacy at the Pharmacists’ Defence Association, the UK’s largest pharmacy membership organisation. With over two decades of leadership experience in community pharmacy, he has held senior executive roles in both multiple and independent settings. A former Vice Chair of the National Pharmacy Association, Jay is also a Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and 2015 C&D Community Pharmacist of the Year. He has a master’s degree in law with a focus on international humanitarian law and is passionate about advocating for pharmacists’ rights and social justice.
