Jennifer de Val is currently the Medication Safety Officer and Associate Chief Pharmacist for Clinical Governance at University Hospitals Birmingham. Jen has over 17 years experience in hospital pharmacy, having worked at a number of large NHS Teaching Trusts, and she has a strong clinical pharmacy background from her significant experience within critical care and anticoagulation services. Jen chaired the West Midlands regional medication safety officers network for a number of years, and continues to be passionate about the field of medication safety.
