Kalveer Flora
Chief Pharmaceutical Officer’s Clinical Fellow,
NHS London Procurement Partnership
Kalveer Flora is the Chief Pharmaceutical Officer’s Clinical Fellow at NHS London Procurement Partnership on secondment from London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust where she has been working as a Lead Rheumatology and Biosimilars Specialist Pharmacist. Bringing years of clinical experience into her new role, Kalveer’s key responsibilities at NHS LPP will include working on the Medicines Optimisation and Pharmacy Procurement strategy. Kalveer hopes the fellowship will enable her to deliver on national work streams and really integrate with NHS decision makers. She has an interest in sustainability, digitalisation of the NHS to improve efficiency and extended roles of pharmacists, all of which I hope to work on throughout my fellowship. She is looking forward to learning new skills such as contracting, procurement and frameworks at NHS LPP which will equip her to be a multifaceted, skilled leader. She is a huge believer in networking and cross-functional working. Working at NHS LPP is the perfect opportunity to develop links with other healthcare organisations and workforce collaboration. She looks forward to getting stuck in and relish any opportunities that may come her way.
