Katherine Hosseini is Deputy Chief Pharmacist and Medication Safety Officer at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. With extensive experience in mental health pharmacy, Katherine leads initiatives to optimise medicines use and improve patient safety across complex care settings. She has spearheaded quality improvement projects, including system-wide approaches to deprescribing and reducing overprescribing of antipsychotics such as Promazine. Katherine is passionate about collaborative working, education, and embedding evidence-based practice to deliver better outcomes for patients. Her work has been recognised through national presentations and awards, reflecting her commitment to innovation and excellence in clinical pharmacy.
