Kieron is the lead pharmacist for thrombosis and anticoagulation at Singleton hospital in Swansea Bay University Health Board, He runs and manages the VTE service, including the CAT service. He also undertakes specialist clinics on behalf of the haematology consultants to review patients with complex anticoagulant needs. He also is vice-chair for the health board thrombosis and anticoagulation committee and sits on the All-Wales hospital acquired thrombosis and T+A committees. His team have won awards for their CAT work including the Welsh Pharmacy Awards and European Hospital Association of Pharmacists awards. The work was also highly commended by the anticoagulant achievement awards.
