Louise Organista

Louise is an advanced prescribing pharmacist working within a multidisciplinary frailty team at Royal Derby Hospital. She has a holistic approach to managing patients and focuses on optimising medications as well as non-pharmacological care interventions, with a particular interest in sleep in older people (in which she is carrying out NIHR-funded research).
She is an Honorary Associate Professor at the School of Pharmacy, University of Nottingham and teaches pharmacy undergraduates about frailty and medicines optimisation. She co-chairs the BGS Pharmacy Group. The Pharmaceutical Journal has listed her as a "Woman to Watch" in 2024.
