Lucy has extensive experience in aseptic services and clinical nutrition as a long standing member of the nutrition team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston (UHBW). She completed her clinical diploma, and is a non-medical prescriber in intestinal failure (IF). As the lead nutrition pharmacist at the Severe Intestinal Failure centre for south west England she provides pharmaceutical and nutritional expertise to the inpatient and outpatient IF cohort. Lucy teaches post-graduate pharmacists at the University of Bath. She has spoken at study days for the BDA critical care group and BSG registrars. She presented a poster at a British Association of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (BAPEN) conference. Lucy is a member of the British Pharmaceutical Nutrition Group (BPNG) Executive and recently has been part of a working group to produce patient materials on behalf of BAPEN and PINNT.
