Madeleine is the Chief Pharmaceutical Officer’s Clinical Fellow 2024/25 with the NHS Specialist Pharmacy Service (SPS). A registered independent prescriber, she brings a strong clinical background with previous roles as a Highly Specialist Dermatology Pharmacist at the St John’s Institute of Dermatology and as a Specialist Gastroenterology Pharmacist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. She has extensive experience in the implementation of biosimilars at an organisational level and is currently a member of the SPS Biosimilar and Key Generics Group. In this role, she supports system-wide efforts to optimise medicines use and deliver financial efficiencies for the NHS through the strategic uptake of biosimilars and key generic medicines.
