Maria is a qualified pharmacist with extensive experience in pharmacy education and training. She joined the East of England Multiprofessional Foundation School Team in August 2022 as the Pharmacy Education Lead. Her work focusses on development and delivery of innovative interprofessional learning opportunities for foundation trainee pharmacists, mainly with foundation doctors and physician associates. This training enables trainee pharmacists to learn with, from and about other healthcare professions, in line with their GPhC learning outcomes. It also prepares trainee pharmacists for their future prescribing roles within multiprofessional healthcare teams.
