Mark Reynolds
Executive Clinical Lead,
Meducate Academy
Mark has worked in medical simulation for twenty years and has
been an Associate Clinical Educator for eighteen. After initial
training from the course lead for the Physician Associate
Programme at University of Birmingham, he up-skilled himself by
learning on the job (with support from course academics) and by
studying the relevant text in Macleod’s Handbook of Clinical
Examination. He has been part of Meducate since it was founded in
2018.
Mark enjoys teaching all of the body system examinations (aside
from any use of the ophthalmoscope due to his aversion to eyes!)
with a special interest in clinical communication, cardiology,
orthopaedics (following extra training by senior clinicians at the
Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham) and men’s health.
Working since day one with Physician Associates and now
Pharmacists at several universities, Mark has been involved with
the teaching of pretty much every clinical discipline in his career.
