Michelle is Principal pharmacist for virtual wards and hospital at home across Cheshire and Merseyside, responsible for the clinical, strategic and operational leadership of pharmacy services in virtual wards in the region. Michelle has a background in primary and secondary care, care homes and community pharmacy. With a particular interest in frailty, she is passionate about medicines optimisation, addressing polypharmacy and medication harm through structured medication review, person centred care and shared decision making. Michelle is keen to advocate for virtual wards, promoting the benefits for patients, and ensuring that pharmacy services are at the forefront of virtual ward development.
