Mira has worked in the Pharmacy world for nearly 25 years and has thoroughly enjoyed her time in various healthcare settings including Community Pharmacies, Prison Pharmacy, Primary and Secondary care. Most recently in her role as a Medicine optimisation care home technician, she felt she has found her passion. It has been very rewarding and has given her immense pleasure to know how her work has been able to make a difference in the resident’s life. Her vast range of experiences has allowed her to continuously develop her skill set. Additionally, the 18-month CPPE Medicine Optimisation Care Home pathway has allowed her to grow her clinical skills further.
Mira’s journey has been a rewarding experience and through her role as a MORPh Associate, she is looking forward to succeeding in raising awareness with evidence-based examples of what an important part a pharmacy technician is in a team. Mira aims to help Pharmacy Technicians progress in their respective carriers. with the everchanging landscape of healthcare, Pharmacy Technicians are becoming more important than ever, and she looks forward to contributing in paving the way for pharmacy technicians to become the leaders and well-recognised professionals that they already are in the pharmaceutical world.
