My name is Rebecca Picton. I am currently working as an Advanced Specialist Pharmacist in Emergency Medicine in the Dudley Foundation Group Trust. I originally studied Pharmacy at Nottingham University and graduated in 2015. I have also completed a Clinical Diploma in Pharmacy at De Montfort University and, more recently, completed an Advanced Clinical Practice Master's with Birmingham University. I have a range of expertise and have previously specialised in roles in Oncology, Surgery and Medicine. In my current role in Emergency Medicine, I enjoy my job as it is diverse and enables me to improve clinical outcomes using critical thinking for all patient groups across the lifespan. In this role, I work with a variety of specialists and thrive in time-sensitive clinical scenarios.
