Regina Ahmed, is a pharmacist and prescriber from the UK who graduated from the University of Bath.
She has worked in a range of different pharmacy settings including community pharmacy, GP practice, professional membership body, pharmacy trade organisation and other pharmacy organisations. Her current role involves writing national guidance and professional standards for pharmacists across all stages and sectors of practice in the UK. She has also studied various Islamic courses including a two year Islamic diploma, the Fiqh of halal and haram medication and prescribing, and the Fiqh of medicine.
She aspires to use her expertise in pharmacy and knowledge in Islam to educate and raise awareness of halal and haram medicines to the Muslim community and healthcare professionals.
