Mr Sadeer Fhadil (MFRPSI MRPharmS IPresc) is Lead Cardiac Pharmacist at Barts Health NHS Trust. He is part of the East London CVD prevention program committee at Bart’s and supports the CVD and Lipids Clinic as an independent prescriber, with a special interest in lipid management. He achieved advanced level 1 for work within cardiology with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. Mr Fhadil graduated from the London School of Pharmacy in 2008 followed by completion of pre-registration training and post-graduate certificate in pharmacy practice at UCLH. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Toronto Western Hospital and licensing to practice as a pharmacist in Ontario in 2012. He has since specialised in Cardiology in the UK and is actively involved in research, having published in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences, and training and development of clinical pharmacists, through delivery of cardiac diploma sessions at UCL School of Pharmacy, cardiovascular online workshops for primary care through CPPE, primary care teaching sessions across NEL and international pharmacy students. His work to develop the ‘Early AMI discharge pathway’ was recognised at the BMJ 2021 awards, winning ‘Stroke and Cardiovascular team of the year’ and nomination for a Barts Health Hero Award.
