Sarah has enjoyed a varied pharmacy career in the UK and overseas. Global health has woven a path throughout, and she has volunteered as a pharmacist in India, Ghana, Mozambique and more recently with the Commonwealth Pharmacy Association (CPA), in Uganda and Nigeria. Sarah has supported CPA since 2016 either as a volunteer or blending this with her NHS role. She is the NHS liaison lead for CPA and is currently contributing to the Commonwealth Partnerships for Antimicrobial Stewardship (CwPAMS) programme. Sarah works full time for NHS England matrix working across the medical and public health directorates in the East. As the pharmacy adviser for pharmaceutical public health and vaccinations, she continues to lead the COVID-19 vaccination programme in region. She is now supporting the public health team in an interim role as the Head of Strategy and Operations in the Public Health Commissioning team which covers all immunisation programmes. Prior to this move into public health, Sarah worked in a variety of senior leadership roles including as Director of the East Anglia Medicines Information Service.
