Sheetal has been practising as a Pharmacy Technician for over 30 years, with over 20 years within Education and Training. Sheetal’s current work is around pharmacy aseptic workforce transformation where she is working with key stakeholders to overcome the challenges around recruitment and retention within this specialist area of pharmacy. Her previous roles include Head of Education and Training, Pharmacy Technical Services at Bart’s Health NHS Trust where she managed the education and training needs of staff within a licensed unit, Educational Programme Director for Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technicians, and support staff at King’s College Hospital NHS Trust. Sheetal is also a team member at the General Pharmaceutical Council’s Accreditation and Recognition panel. She continues to pursue her aspiration to work Nationally to ensure that the workforce within Pharmacy has the right knowledge, skills, and behaviours to provide a safe Pharmacy service.
