Shehnaz has specialised in diabetes care at the University Hospitals of Leicester since 2004. She joined the Diabetes team as a Diabetes Website Development Coordinator and worked with the multidisciplinary teams across UHL and Primary Care Trusts, communicating and distilling complex medical information to lay audiences. Shehnaz developed a flair for the more visual side of her role and upskilled to becoming a Graphic Designer with the Creative Team at the Leicester Diabetes Centre (LDC). This role centres around research output and involves problem solving to create visually appealing content, whilst being centred around the health needs of the patient. Shehnaz specialises in creating award-winning animations at the LDC Creative team which service local, national and international stakeholders.
