Shilpa Jethwa is a Consultant Antimicrobial Pharmacist at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust and an academic practitioner at University College London, School of Pharmacy. She brings over two decades of specialist antimicrobial stewardship experience to her role at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and is closely involved in driving stewardship priorities across the BLMK health economy. Shilpa is the recipient of an East of England Regional Award for Antimicrobial Stewardship and has been shortlisted for a national HSJ Digital Award, recognising her leadership in digital innovation. She has an extensive publication record and a strong commitment to research, education, and evidence‑based practice, driving improvements in infection management and patient care through strategic, clinical and digital transformation.
