Sumayya started her career as a resident pharmacist in Leeds and then went to specialise in paediatrics where she completed her independent prescribing qualifications and has been prescribing since 2015. Sumayya has worked as a lecturer practitioner and was also previously the Training Programme Director for Foundation pharmacists in Yorkshire and Humber. Sumayya has extensive experience in Education, training and development of pharmacy staff including leading the training of pharmacists, trainee pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and support staff.
