Vanya is a Specialist Senior Adult Oncology Programme and Haemato-Oncology Pharmacist at Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, UK. Specialising in oncology since 2014, she holds a Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice and became an independent prescriber in 2019. Vanya collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to provide personalised care for cancer patients aged 70 and above. An active member of several oncology and pharmacy societies, her research focuses on geriatric oncology and medication safety. Recently, she received a Pre-Doctoral Fellowship from Royal Marsden Charity to develop methods enhancing medication safety and patient quality of life for senior adults undergoing chemotherapy.
