Wendy is Consultant Pharmacist Anticoagulation and Thrombosis at Calderdale/ Huddersfield trust (CHFT). She manages a primary care based anticoagulant service providing a “one-stop shop” for anticoagulants (DOAC and warfarin initiation, monitoring INR’s, bridging and reversal.) She is vice-chair of CHFT’s Thrombosis Committee and was part of the team that achieved VTE exemplar status for the trust in 2023. She is currently a member of the AF WAY project: working with colleagues across West Yorkshire to “Detect, Protect and Perfect” treatment of AF. She is Chair of Northern Anticoagulant Pharmacists’ group and member of UKCPA HAT Committee and VTE specialist network.
