Ziad works part-time as a Soar Beyond Clinical Services Pharmacist whilst retaining his role as Lead Clinical Pharmacist for Didcot PCN in South Oxfordshire. In his Senior Pharmacist role, Ziad leads and develops the role of PCN clinical pharmacists working across three GP practices to 45,000 patients across Didcot and surrounding villages. Ziad works closely with the PCN Clinical Director, PCN management team, and prescribing leads to balance and prioritise the clinical, service and patient priorities with a particular focus on the national cardiovascular prevention and management agenda. Ziad retains sessional clinics with a focus on medicines optimisation for patients with multimorbidity and complex polypharmacy in his role as an independent prescriber.
